In July/07, GROTE Co, of Columbus, OH acquired Vanmark Corporation.  This brings a new level of commitment to product development at Vanmark.  Vanmark has long been an industry leader in scrubbing and peeling systems, primarily for potatoes and other root and fruit crops.  Grote is a leading supplier of precision slicing machinery, with emphasis on ‘slice-and-place’ technology (such as for pizza and sandwich making). The new Vanmark Equipment LLC will continue the leadership tradition started as the Vanmark Corporation for many years to come.

NEW! Vanmark Series 2900 Peeler/Scrubber

For over 30 years, Vanmark’s Series 2700 (aka Model 27) has been the standard of the industry in J-bed type scrubbers, copied by many, equaled by none. Now, after much consultation with processors, and understanding their evolving needs, VANMARK has retired the Series 2700 in favour of the Series 2900.

The BIG differences:

• Visually, WOW! Rounded frame construction for better sanitation, product flow and service access.
• Mechanically: simpler design = less parts = lower operating/maintenance cost = more reliability = more productivity = more profitable operation for the processor.
• Maintenance free stainless steel drive case provides more reliability; lower running cost.
• Productivity/Performance: Natural flow discharge increases efficiency and yield. And with no moving parts, it helps to further reduce maintenance and increase uptime.
